DeepSi
Over the years DeepSi (AKA David Coddington) has played in various rock bands as a bass player, guitar player, singer and song writer and he has also found a new fascination with the harmonium. In recent years DeepSi’s musical exploration has moved towards Kirtan.
Kirtan, a form of bhakti yoga, is devotional chant in Sanskrit which often is sung in call and response or simultaneously, in unison and in harmony. The beauty of Kirtan is the empathic power it generates and how it subtly shifts the focus on the self to a more inclusive embrace of all beloveds while feeling musical ecstasy.
DeepSi leads Leela Kirtan every month for community singing, dancing and mystical experience that is a mix of traditional and original song/chants in that is joyful, energizing and transformational!
DeepSi also sings, plays guitar and bass and harmonium in the latest musical project with Attuwab, PA Star System and others. He also co-writes with his partner Tessalin Green who composes on piano in progressive rock stylings.

Maybe it has something to do with being brothers under a sun sign or maybe it has to do with the common pursuit of a higher calling to elevate ourselves and others through the bonding and cross cultural power of playing and singing music together. However I may choose to describe it, Attuwab and I seem to sing as one voice with one intent when we are delivering Kirtan (devotional chant in Sanskrit) or heartfelt and riveting songs in English that are original and expansive.We have been traveling this road together now for about five years as we have shared Kirtan at the Community Sanctuary in North Boulder and elsewhere in the Denver metro area and in the last year at the Tribal Vision Festival in Taos, New Mexico. The journey continues as we deliver Dancin to Be Free, a song of liberation from injustice and oppression from without and freedom from the conflicted mind that lies within. As we grow and move into new realms of expression and inner and outer travel we invite you to join us and our friends of high intent the PA Star System and Cynthia Farley who uplift and support us on this path of exquisite, ecstatic self-examination and heart generated inclusivity.
